Director
I’ve been working with students since 1993 in several different areas. Celebrating 25 years of marriage this year. I have a daughter who graduated this year and a son who will be a junior at Central State University.
Kim Jenkins
Associate Director
Hi!
My name Kim Jenkins, and I am the Associate Director of the Groups Scholars Program. In the 24 years that I’ve been with Groups, I’ve served as an academic advisor, science tutor, learning community instructor, and STEM Coordinator. When I’m not working, you can be sure to find me hanging out with my family or out in the garden. I’m looking forward to getting to know you over the course of the summer! Welcome to Groups and welcome to IU!

I am thrilled to be a part of the Groups Scholars Program, serving as both an Academic Advisor and the STEM Coordinator. Prior to Groups I’ve worked as a Positive Psychology Life Coach, Professional Social Justice Educator, and Language Arts instructor. Outside of work I’m passionate about basketball and all things “nerdy” (from movies & television to video & tabletop roleplaying games).

"What's up G'24! I'm excited to meet you all this summer! Other than being an advisor for you all, I will be the coordinator for our LEADS mentorship program. I'm also taking all 1v1 basketball challenges at the rec center this summer. And before the thought cross your mind... yes, I'm a bucket"
Suparna Bose
I am an Academic Advisor, Retention Specialist, and the Groups Peer Tutor Coordinator. I am also a fellow Hoosier, a doctoral candidate in the School of Education, and a proud Hoosier Mom! When not advising or writing, I love to paint watercolors, work on jigsaw puzzles, and do gardening.
